Test Valley Borough Council has produced its draft Core Strategy Development Plan Document (DPD) and its Designations DPD for public consultation following agreement at the Full Council meeting on the 10th November 2011.

The Core Strategy sets out the proposed locations for development for the Borough until 2031. It also includes policies which will be used in determining planning applications. The Designations DPD contains settlement boundaries, local gap boundaries and other designations which have been used to inform the Core Strategy.

 This is an important document. Stockbridge Parish Council are required to respond by 17th February 2012.

Our initial comments are that the housing settlement has been extended to the north and in to areas of SSSI withpout consideration of parking or traffic generation,

You're invited to submit your comments on both documents from 6th January 2012 - Friday 17th February 2012 at 4:30pm. Only comments received during this period will be taken into account.
