Stockbridge High Street benefits from its position at the heart of the Test Valley. It's natural topography makes it particularly easy to access for those with walking difficulties as well as older persons.
Disabled parking bays are available at the co-op on the High Street, outside Stockbridge pharmacy and adjacent to the public conveniences.
The Town Hall has disabled access and a lift to the first floor.
The public conveniences have disabled access with a Phlexicare radar key scheme.
an induction loop system operates in St. Peter's church.
Many of the facilities, shops and bars have disabled facilities. Please check with the individual premises for more details. A number of the facilities have produced disability access statements which are available on their website or on request.
Access to the Common Marsh is restricted by two way gates and the footpath is unmade. This means it is unsuitable for wheelchair access.
Handrails around the ponds are painted in contrasting white.
A zebra crossing can be found in the centre of the High Street by St. Peter's Church. Dropped kerb crossing points with waiting areas in the centre of the road can be found at each end of the High Street and at the road junctions at the White Hart roundabout.
